I think I'm addicted to these beautiful flowers and I may be under an enchanted spell of the Hellebore!
1st drawing in water colour pencil.
Stamens added in pure lemon yellow and a mix of lemon yellow and ultramarine blue.
The gradual build up of petals in a mix of ultramarine blue, burnt sienna and quinacridone magenta.
Stem and foliage painted in the mix of lemon yellow, ultramarine blue and a little burnt sienna.
